Real Madrid reach third successive Champions League final
Bayern 2-2 Real Madrid (agg 3-4)
Benzema and Rodriguez goals seal Bernabeu triumph
Reigning European champions Real Madrid reached their third successive UEFA Champions League final on Tuesday night with a 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich at the Bernabeu.
Jupp Heynckes' side needed to overturn a 2-1 deficit from the first leg in Germany but could only manage a draw in the Spanish capital, despite taking an early lead through Joshua Kimmich.
Goals from Karim Benzema and James Rodriguez either side of half-time put the hosts in control of the tie, and although Corentin Tolisso pulled a goal back for Bayern, Real held on to secure a 4-3 aggregate victory.
Zinedine Zidane's side will now face either Liverpool or Roma in the final in Kiev on 26 May.
